Polyphemus

This was my first clay armature sculpture and probably my most successful one to this date.

Prior to building it, I imagined this skull being the size of an actual human skull.
During this period, I was experimenting with anatomy (despite never taking an anatomy class) and the skull was originally supposed to be apart of a series of other anatomical ceramic pieces I created. However, overtime, I started to take a different approach, leaning into fantasy and cartoonish physical attributes.
